Coming Soon... Our Own Fuel Injected Vapor System!

     Finally, New News!

As many of you have inquired about the progress of our system, we felt it was way past time for an update. In a nutshell, here is where things are at.

     These next 7 pictures are of our 3rd attempted heat exchanger. After countless hundreds of hours of fabricating, we installed it on our vehicle, only to realize it was way too restrictive and wouldn't make more than 300 degrees of heat. It was clear that this design would not meet the requirements to heat the fuel way past the point of 'catalytic cracking' that takes place between 500 and 600 degrees. There was no way to modify this unit to flow much more exhaust, so it had to be scrapped. It was time for some much BIGGER thinking...

    If we were going to flow some exhaust through the unit, what better way than to make the exhaust manifold itself into the heat exchanger! Why not use ALL the exhaust heat? What you see below is our 4th attempt, which is extremely successful in applying heat to the fuel way past the point where it is completely vaporized. This unit will reach 300 degrees within 20 seconds from an overnight cold start, over 600 degrees within a minute, and over 1,200 degrees at 70 miles per hour going uphill under load!

This shows the original exhaust header positioned on a jig to keep the pre-cat and header flanges aligned to their original positions.

This is the section of header pipe that was cut out to make room for the heat exchanger

The bottom view of the same setup. To keep all emissions components intact, we welded the pre-cat to the bottom of the exchanger in order to argue for it meeting all emissions requirements.

  Most of the welding is finished at this point. The tubes running through the heat exchanger will first turn water into steam, then add fuel to it, thereby increasing the efficiency of the vaporization process.

  Ceramically coated to keep the heat in the unit and protect the components around it, it is nearly ready to install into the vehicle! You can see the bank of injectors on the right, 4 for water and 4 for fuel.

  Can you believe it? After a year of hard work, it's in the car! The fit is perfect, since we literally converted the header pipe into the heat exchanger. We didn't have to be nearly as concerned about room, as you can see. This vehicle has already run on vapor, but has some major technical issues to resolve to calibrate this system to match the vehicle computer's operating parameters. Every step of this process has been an extremely intense, deeply frustrating, and exuberantly satisfying learning experience. The knowledge that's been gained could not have come from anywhere else except under this hood. We have still not enjoyed the success we anticipate, but I believe we are 95% of the way there!

Dear Friends;

We receive many e-mails and inquiries every month from people interested in eventually purchasing our system. They want to know how soon it will be available. Unfortunately, I can't give them a straight answer, because we long ago used up our budget to build and develop this system. What you have seen on this page has cost over $8,000, and literally thousands of man-hours to build. We are financially tapped out. Folks, we will be giving this technology away once it's perfected and we've gained all the answers needed to build this system. If you want to help us get this done as soon as possible, consider purchasing one of our CDs or website access subscriptions. Every penny that comes from the sale of them goes directly into our development budget and helps us to get one step closer to completion. If you're not interested in purchasing the info, we're not too proud to accept donations to further the development of this technology. If you feel moved to help us out, please send a donation of any size to:
